The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of multiple manual and CNC machine types to meet Tiffany standards.
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of multiple manual and CNC machine types: turning, milling, screw machines and manual lathes. Run machines according to toolmakers specifications. Check quality of tools before and after operations, keep inventory of tools. Ability to inspect raw materials and finished parts.
To qualify you must have at least 2 years experience on CNC equipment in operating and maintenance, programming and technical certification, a plus. Ability to select tools and materials for the job and plan the sequence of cutting and finishing operations. Ability to replace and maintain matrix of dull cutting tools and ability to read blueprints and work instructions. Flexible to work overtime and weekends, as needed. Abiltiy to work and communicate with others in a constructive professional manner.
