Safety Advisor
Position Summary
This Safety Advisor position sits within the Environmental Health and Safety Department. The Safety Advisor is a highly collaborative position and involves working with CVS corporate partners to develop a safety and compliance culture. This will require traveling to nearby offices to give presentations.
The Safety Advisor will be responsible for the emergency response team (ERT): coordination, training, and program management. This includes active participation with ERT members, corporate building partners, and distribution centers.
The Safety Advisor will also be assisting in developing corporate safety and compliance programs associated with OSHA, NFPA and overall safety practices.
Other responsibilities include:
maintaining the AED program
working with the American heart association
sustaining relationships with local and country wide partnerships with fire departments, regulators etc.

years of professional work experience (including internships) required. Experience in the safety field strongly preferred.
